Harbingers

Harbingers

I find it ironic that after years of chasing different species of birds to photograph I am now happy to see a pigeon on a ruined building.

My first thought is that I like them because they adapt, they do what they have to do to survive; but there may be something to their grittiness that is beyond that first obvious notion. Perhaps it is that they are the first harbingers of immutable nature and inevitable time returning to reclaim what is theirs.
