Here on Purpose
My last scroll “A Thing of Transcendent Beauty” was heavy, I know. But it was about the past. In that time, I thought I was the luckiest person alive because I couldn't see myself as living somewhere because that was where I happened to be, or surrounded by chance by other aimless people who just happened to be there too. I had been given--gifted--a purpose. From birth.
Now I am hundreds of miles away from there, many years away from there, and let me say: purpose is not something that any person or group gets to dictate for another. Identity is not something that any person or any group can give another. It is a calling that you choose to answer. Now I am here, on purpose, on my own terms, in the most beautiful, historic place in the world.
